"Let's keep it mysterious."
Doctor Who ex-boss Steven Moffat has delivered a few teasers regarding his forthcoming TV reunions with both David Tennant and Peter Capaldi.
First up is Inside Man, an offbeat drama simmering with mystery and starring Tennant in the role of Reverend Harry Watling.
"Well, let's keep it mysterious," Moffat told RadioTimes, "I'm trying to think of anything I can say about it.
"Most detective shows are whodunits. This one is more like a 'who will do it'. Or possibly a 'you done it'," he clarified.
"Its central idea is anyone can be a murderer. And it won't be the one you expect."
Dolly Wells (Dracula), Lydia West (It's a Sin) and Stanley Tucci (The Hunger Games) all play key parts in this one too, with a previous announcement confirming that it'll follow the seemingly disparate situations of Watling, an American death row prisoner and a maths teacher trapped inside a cellar.
Meanwhile, Moffat's Capaldi project is The Devil's Hour, which he's executive producing for Amazon Prime Video.
Described as a "dangerous recluse", the Twelfth Doctor's character will become entangled in a murder case.
"It's a really hard one to define," admitted Moffat. "We asked all the actors to define it and Peter Capaldi being a genius said, 'Listen to your nightmares.'
"So that's the best I can tell you."
This six-parter, streaming later in the year, orbits around Jessica Raine's single mother Lucy, who wakes up every night at precisely 3.33am by bone-shuddering visions.
