The Bea Nilsson actress has a new fiancé.
Former Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson has revealed the happy news that she has got engaged to her partner, Sam Morrison.
The actress and singer, who played Bea Nilsson in Neighbours, shared her excitement over the big news on Instagram, as she posted a photo of herself and Sam smiling in the sunshine, with Bonnie proudly holding up her left hand to show off her new ring.
"I CANT BELIEVE IT!!! My best friend asked me to marry him! I can't wait for forever with you my love!" she captioned the post.
Sam shared his own joy over their engagement on his Instagram page, posting a similar photo and writing: "I couldn't be happier. I love this girl, more than anything. Let's do the rest of our lives together."
It isn't known how long the couple have been together, but they went public with their relationship in November 2021.
Bonnie has received several congratulatory messages from her former Neighbours co-stars, with David Tanaka actor Takaya Honda commenting: "Congrats Bon Bon!" while Jemma Donovan, who plays Harlow Robinson, added: "Congrats Bon!!"
She also received excited comments from Scott McGregor (Mark Brennan), Georgie Stone (Mackenzie Hargreaves), Ben Hall (Ned Willis), April Rose Pengilly (Chloe Brennan) and Jacinta Stapleton (Amy Greenwood).
Bonnie made her first appearance in Neighbours as Bea in 2018 and was introduced as the estranged half-sister of Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta). She was soon embroiled in a major dramatic storyline, as it was revealed that her boyfriend Patrick was in fact the villainous Finn Kelly (Rob Mills), who had previously put Bea's aunt Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) in hospital.
She departed Ramsay Street in 2021, deciding to head off on a road trip with the new Sheila Canning after striking up a friendship with her.
Following her exit, Bonnie said that she felt she had "reached a point that I could take everything on board and was ready to continue soaring elsewhere", adding that she would "absolutely" consider reprising her role in the future.
If the actress does want to return she will need to be quick, as it has been confirmed that Neighbours is coming to an end this summer after 37 years on air due to funding issues.
